Historical Background 

Origins and development: Since its birth in 1966, the Corolla has gone through many iterations and has become one of the world's best-selling cars, with a world record of 40 million units sold in 2013. 

China: In 2004, the ninth generation Corolla was produced in China under the name "Corolla" by FAW Toyota, and in 2006, the Chinese name of the tenth generation Corolla was changed to "Corolla".
