BYD Dolphin Electric Car

BYD Dolphin is a small all-electric vehicle built by BYD Auto based on the e Platform 3.0, and is the first model in the BYD Ocean lineup

Design Features 

Ocean Aesthetics Design Concept: Dolphin adopts the “Ocean Aesthetics” design concept, with rounded and smooth exterior styling, a unique front design and BYD's new logo. 

Dimensions: With a wheelbase of 2700mm, the Dolphin is positioned as a small car, but the interior space is close to the standard of a B-class car, providing a comfortable riding experience. 

 

Powertrain 

Pure electric drive: Dolphin is powered by pure electric drive, equipped with BYD's self-developed Lithium Iron Phosphate Blade Battery, which is available in different capacity packs and thus in different range versions. 

Range: Depending on the configuration, the Dolphin's NEDC range can be up to 405km or more, and the specific data should be referred to the latest released model information.

Braking and Handling 

Braking: Dolphin adopts disc braking system to provide stable braking force. 

Handling: Thanks to the ePlatform 3.0, the Dolphin has a good performance in terms of handling agility and stability.

Interior and Configuration 

Intelligent connectivity: the Dolphin is equipped with BYD's DiLink intelligent Internet connection system, which supports voice recognition, online navigation, remote control and other functions. 

Space Layout: Interior space layout is reasonable, with comfortable seats and abundant storage space, suitable for city commuting and short-distance traveling.
